1959pickguard with full sheild, vintage style capacitor, and Illusion pickups (1958 style hand wound ). All of our pickguards are made with vintage style cloth-covered wire and reverse wound middle pickups. Our pickguards are always set-up with a five way switch and are set-up with the tone knob controlling the bridge pickup like Eric Johnson's. We can outfit you with a three way switch, or the tone knob operating the middle pickup and the middle pickup foward wound if you so desire.

All Freddymade guitars are painted with custom lacquers including nitro cellulose if desired. The bottom line is that we just use better stuff....its that simple. They just wont build you a guitar with a Warmoth quality birdseye, or flame maple neck for under 3500. dollars . No one makes a better bridge than Super-Vee and Callaham and Lindy Fralin is still and always will be the standard in vintage pickup manufacturing and sound quality .
